wow–i am so impressed with the pics and details of your trip! and am so JEALOUS of all the zoos you got to visit. i can’t imagine how great it would be to hold a chimp and pet a koala! very cool. glad it was a good time (all flooding aside, of course).

Heh. Did you notice that the captions get shorter and shorter closer to the end? I couldn’t help it; it was well after midnight and I was TIRED. 🙂
It was a great time though… We didn’t plan on doing so many zoos, but it was just too fun to pass up. And it gave Snookums a chance to make fun of me and my animal phobia.

oh RIGHT–i’d forgotten about your phobia! you could hardly tell from the pics that/if you were getting skeeved out. i’d be willing to make the hellacious flight just for the furry little nuggets!!
oh and ps–i don’t know if you got my eGreeting, but thank you so much for the gift! unfortunately it hasn’t helped J.’s game too much–i’m still kicking his trivia @$$ but good. though i have learned that it’s bad manners to say “yes!” after checking the answer to a question directed at him…not good to gloat, i guess.
