So @movemberAUS pretty much forced the Prostate Cancer Foundation to reject donations from @fauxvemberAU? THAT SUCKS. EVERYONE LOSES.

@gilmae @randomknits @knitterjp @drkknits @kunaal84 I thought it was a parable about the monstrous ickiness of motherhood, hence my interest

@kunaal84 @drkknits I played Horrify the Twilight Noob with him. @miss_reecie was even funnier. ๐Ÿ™‚

@sharre Ha! Did you just read my comment, or did we both use that phrase independently? Too funny.

I don’t get it. I’m in a bunch of online running groups. They’re uniformly awesome and welcoming. Why are so many knitters… not? #tired

@grannyg_in_nz Haha… Never thought of that, but it makes sense. Love it! ๐Ÿ™‚

@randomknits My parents and siblings openly referred to my first boyfriend as “The Weenie”.

@randomknits Rather cooled the ardour, I must say. Don’t underestimate the power of open mockery (assuming you don’t like him).

@Opheli8 I’ve been disappointed with sloppy Kindle book conversion. Lots of missing punctuation, bad capitalisation, etc.

@bellsknits Not dominated, but there’s definitely more of a balance. Maybe that contributes.

Important Note

This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.
