NoBloPoMo

We’re officially halfway through NaBloPoMo, and I’ve just been cruisin’. Hell, half the time I have to refrain from posting more each day. I’ve been surprised at how many people seem to find it difficult though. I’ve been following Rashenbo’s reviews and it seems like fully a third of the participants are out of the running. And Fussy linked to this complaint by someone who claims they nearly had a NERVOUS BREAKDOWN from blogging. Really? Am I doin’ this wrong or somethin’? Let’s just take a deep breath, folks. You don’t have to approach every post like you’re going for the Pulitzer. It’s okay to be silly and fun sometimes. (She says in justification for her verbal – and typographic – diarrhea…)

  1. I’m getting away with talking about the WEATHER today – it ain’t rocket science.

  2. I haven’t been anywhere close to a nervous breakdown, but I have to say that it hasn’t been totally easy for me. I’m just not used to blogging every day — it’s either once a week, or about eight different posts in a row. So pacing myself has been difficult, and there have been days where I was just feeling lazy or tired. But I’m not out yet, and it’s been very good for me to talk about my work in ways that I would normally avoid.

  3. I’ve gotten so out of the habit of blogging everyday that it’s been a slight pain. I feel like I’m letting my 1 to 2 readers down with my senseless posts. But nervous breakdown? Hell no. I’m glad I’m doing this. I missed blogging.
