Me and a Very Alive Hill
I’m at the Sing-a-long Sound of Music with just about every gay in Sydney. There are nuns, Nazis, girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes…
The Next Morning: Oh, my aching head. Every time I closed my eyes all night, all I could hear was “DOE – A DEER – A FEMALE DEER!” Here’s some more information on the show for those that are interested, and Amy will no doubt have some pictures up on Flickr soon.

Heh! I loved SalSoM. So much that I bought the CD. I get a big smile on my face when a SoM song comes up on random play on my iPod!

I just can’t face it… i mean when it’s on tv i sing a long to all the songs, I know all the lines, when I was a child I wanted to be Leisl, to the extent that i completely denied the end of the movie when the-going-on-18 boyfriend turns into a brain washed member of the Nazi Youth. It was only when I watched it agin in my late teems that I remembered the hinding in the cemetary bit.
Singing along in public would seem so wrong, like dance rountines to “Thriller”, somethings should never leave the privacy of the lounge room…
