The Once and Future Way to Run – NYTimes.com

The Once and Future Way to Run – NYTimes.com – A long article from Christopher McDougall on barefoot running. I’m very interested in the “100-Up” exercise he mentions towards the end. If I’m going to train for another marathon, I need to do everything I can to remain injury free.

  1. I tried it this morning — It’s not actually unlike the Wii Fit “strength exercise” stuff. We’ll see…I am a big fan of the Vibrams.

  2. Max

I tried it as well on my Sunday run. I don’t think I was always correct in my form, but there did seem to be a little less pain in my legs/knees afterward than usual.

Important Note

This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown.
