Thank you, that’s really encouraging (well, discouraging too, but good on Jimmy et al).
Jimmy Carter has always been a man of principle. I wish more religious leaders (and their flocks) practised what they preach. Some of the nastiest people I have met have been devout members of their churches. ( As have some of the most caring and principled). I often despair of the human race.
