Padron peppers, nature’s game of surprise – We had these at Thomas Keller’s restaurant ad hoc last year. I somehow missed the bit about “one out of every five is really hot” and took a giant bite of what turned out to be the hot one. YOWZA. Won’t make that mistake again!
