In case you didn’t see it, my friend Stefanie came up with a great link about why Jennifer Connelly’s up for Best Supporting Actress instead of Best Actress. I still think she was scared of the competition, though.

i don’t think i’ll ever be able to watch her in a film without thinking of her role in Requiem for a Dream. months after viewing, that movie is still burned into my retinas. lordy.
Oh god yes. We saw that film the other week. Not a happy ending in sight and well…..
even posting about it here made me dream about it last night. crikey, that film defines mind-job.
I haven’t seen it. I thought I might (since it has Jordan Catalano in it and all), but you folks are making me reconsider.
