I KNEW you were going to say that. But of course. Grilled peppers are the BEST. 🙂

I can hear that cast iron skillet of fajitas sizzling at Chi-Chi’s even before they get to the table.

Mmmm. Mexican food here is a little weird. Some stuff (like fajitas) is basically the same. But other stuff is different. Like, Taco Bell has “Bel Grande” fries that you can get, all covered with meat and cheese like nachos. And Old El Paso’s “Gordita” kit has PEANUTS included that you’re supposed to sprinkle on top. No real Mexican puts peanuts on anything, I’m sure.

Taco Bell has pissed me off, ya know the express one in Lagrange, well they are closing it, I know the guy that owns the place and he says they wont renew his lease and told him it dosent fit in with the “new” image they want to project. It seems they want to do away with all of the express outlets.

Oh, right. Like it really hurts Taco Bell to have restaurants in gas stations, because they’re such an upscale place. Geez. 🙂

I’m just pissed at Taco Bell because they took Chili Cheese Burritos off of the menu. Oh, and because I always have f’ed up dreams whenever I eat there. The Bel Grande nachos (not fries — ew!) are kickass, though.

You know what I love from there? The lowly Tostada. It’s sooooo good, with the taco shell and the beans and the hot sauce. YUM.

Yes, Tara, they took off the Chilito. And without warning! One week I was enjoying my chili cheese burritos, and the next week the drive-thru lady was informing me that I couldn’t order a chilito because they no longer offered them. Bah! I was disappointed. The bean burrito is still pretty good, but I’ll always miss the chilitos.
