Good News Part One. I have a meeting about a job today! I’m fairly certain I’m going to get it, too! It’s just an HTML contract, but it’s a step in the right direction.
Update: I got it!

Important Note
This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.

Congrats, Pants!!! Woohoo!
way to go, woman!!! tell us more!
oh and ps, what jann said in the AOL@$$ thread.
Any work is good work! (At least $ and experience-wise…) Is it all hard-coding, or do you have work w/ FrontPage or something equally lousy?
Woo hoo! Congratulations!
Money money!
Congratulations!
Thanks everybody. It’s actually a design AND coding job. (My first paid design work!) It’s a Sydney company with a pretty cool real estate-type Internet application. (I’m not sure how much I should say, since they want me to sign an NDA.) But they want me to spiff it up and make it look more professional, and make it all cross-browser compliant and stuff as well. So design work, then a bunch of hand-coding.
And the best part? I get to work from home! Fantastic.
Hows – that’s awesome, girl! Congrats.
