Matthew Hayden broke the all time test scoring record today with 380 against Zimbabwe. Man, I wish more of you watched cricket so you knew the significance of this. It’s the equivalent of breaking the season home run record in baseball (before that became a commonplace event). Good on ya, Hayden.

A pity it was against Zimbabwe, though – it might have had a little more resonance if scored off the bowling of a “real” team (sorry, Zimbabwe) like India, say, or Pakistan. But still, it’s quite something.
