I downloaded it yesterday; it looks really pretty, and the image handling is a cut above the average Usenet client, but it’s an online reader and I really dislike the lag in reading articles online over a dialup connection. (I suppose I could run a local news server, but over a dial-up that’s not very practical when I read so many newsgroups.)

    So it’s back to MacSoup, which isn’t quite as nice as Forté Agent on Windows – aka The Best Damn Offline Usenet Client in the Universe – but now I’ve got used to MacSoup’s odd little ways I find that it’s a lean mean newsreading machine.
