I’ve taught a lot of people to knit over the last ten years. Today was one of the most special.

Today’s highlights: meeting women rescued from human trafficking & teaching them to knit. Getting Canva running locally (like the Eng team).

Both humbling experiences in very different ways.

Feeling incredibly grateful for the luck, opportunities & advantages I’ve had. I need to remember this next time I feel sorry for myself.

@drkknits There was a two-year-old. TWO. I just can’t even. We are so fortunate.

@drkknits It was a surprisingly positive experience. The shelter is nice. The girls are so friendly. They called me Auntie Kris.

@drkknits It’s only now, 10 hours later, that my chest tightens just thinking about why they were there.
