The Zero Movement

I just made a connection. Those stupid “zeromovement.com” thingies that were spraypainted all over the city’s sidewalks a few weeks ago are part of the marketing campaign for Coke Zero! Those asses. I take back my compliments about it. There’s nothing I hate more than vandalism masquerading as advertising.

  1. I saw the billboards along the train line a few weeks ago, that are sort of DIY-y, and they made me smile the first time I saw them, with their crypticness, but then I worked out it was probably something like that.

  2. This SMH article went around at work, with regards to “viral” marketing and when it can backfire.

Important Note

This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.
