Some lovely person sent me a beautiful piece of art! There was no note. Was it you?

Not only do I help run some of the best tech conferences in Australia as my day job, I’m doing it again as a volunteer side project. I’ll be running the “Art + Tech Miniconf” as part of LinuxConfAU in Sydney on Tuesday, January 23rd. The full program is now online, which includes computational creativity, art and literature created by neural networks, music, knitting, embroidery, Maker projects, blinkenlights, and even a tie-in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is going to be fun. ๐Ÿ™‚

(Okay, okay. There’s even some crochet in there too.)

OMG Bev Snook – you’re getting a big Milo tin! We definitely have to visit. ๐Ÿ™‚

Trying out FB’s marketplace to get rid of our sofa bed. It’s actually a really great piece of furniture, but we rarely get stayover guests and I’d much rather have the space back in my office. Anybody interested?
