27% positivity rate in the county where I went to high school. Multiple family members have now tested positive. And still there are those who refuse to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. I despair.

One of the highlights of this Friday the 13th was getting to close out a track at Build Stuff 2020, sharing advice and tips for building a tech career that makes you happy. While I was sad not to visit Vilnius in person – our trip last year was a big inspiration in the decision to move to Europe! – the organisers did a fantastic job at pivoting the event to virtual. I was even able to get a caricature done! 😂 Well done to Neringa Young and the whole #BuildStuffConf team… 👏
