Huh. Some technie nerds mentioned Ravelry and the initial comment response was pretty disparaging. Luckily some awesome knitters showed up to put them in their place!

Oooh that first comment makes me mad! We’re all old grannies knitting endless acrylic jumpers for our long-suffering grandchildren are we? We’re not tech-savvy enough to so much as stumble across a website, let alone create one?

There are some good comments by non-knitters too. I left a comment last night. But I doubt that the techie-nerd boys who make comments like that will ever get it.
