Happily, our visit coincided with the monthly Inner City meeting of the @knittersguildnsw! ❤️🧶 So lovely to see all these folks again…

Many many years ago we discovered @redoakboutiquebeercafe in the Sydney CBD and visited it many times. One memorable evening in 2005, we were there when they won multiple medals at the Australian Beer Awards and rang the bell in celebration (and gave away free beer!) for each one. It turns out they are closing up the restaurant this weekend so we made a point to go in one last time. When I shared that memory with the owner Janet today, she insisted we come behind the bar and give it a final ring! ❤️🍻🔔

The most important reunion of all… ❤️🐈‍⬛ (He remembered us!! Apparently @cactusknitkelly has been helping him count down the days until our visit. 😻)
