I don’t like having to think about things like whether I’m doomscrolling too much and what the financial and long-term implications of expatriation might be and whether my nieces and nephews will be safe at school and how anyone can support this madness and whether it’s morbid to actually be grateful I’m peri menopausal and whether my company will support me if I say I don’t want to travel to the US anymore and wondering whether that is playing into the hands of the radical religious nutbars and researching how I can support women and LGBTQI Americans who are rightly fearful for their lives, all before I’ve had my damn breakfast. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Farewelling Australia (for now) with steak, truffles, and red wine. 🍷🇦🇺❤️

Important Note

This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.
