Day 3 of Baby Watch continues… No news from home. Mom says they’re keeping Kara on magnesium to override the contractions. Her water hasn’t broken yet, but for a while there the contractions were coming five minutes apart. I think they’re just trying to buy as much time as possible to let the baby’s lungs develop a little more.

My youngest was five weeks early and they whacked me with steriods to help his lungs along. He was tiny, 3pounds, but a strong little fella. While the waters are intact it’s all good. Fingers x’ed, I just feel for anyone trying to lay as still as possible to prolong pregnancy, and for those waiting for news.
Good vibes being sent xx 6 weeks early isn’t so bad, but hopefully the little one will wait a bit longer 🙂
I agree with Amy that any baby of Anthony’s will be strong as an ox. Maybe we’ll have a Thanksgiving baby!
