My sister sent me a link to this news story about President Bush phoning a dozen servicemen in Iraq to wish them each a happy Thanksgiving. One of them was Dave Mickem, who was in my class in high school. I had no idea he was over there. (Upon second thought though, I seem to remember him saying something about joining the Army.)
