Neat! I managed to make a custom iPhone ringtone this morning, and now I feel pretty confident that I’m the only person in the world whose phone plays the bridge from “Flowers of Guatemala” when she gets a call.

While I don’t have an iPhone, your posting inspired me to finally try making my own custom ring tone for my Motorola V9. It turns out that the chorus of my favourite song is exactly 30 seconds long, and was surprisingly easy to turn into a ring tone — I even have a little fade out at the end. 🙂 And, like you, I’m guessing I’m going to be the only person whose mobile plays the chorus of “Far Far Away” whenever she gets a call — here’s hoping that this makes it easier for me to hear incoming calls. 😉
