I love, love, LOVE this vintage 1981 Lego ad. I love everything about it. If I ever had a little girl, I’d want her to be just like this.

Important Note
This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.

You know what’s REALLY sad? Lego don’t make the simple bricks that we had when we were young, they just make sets now. Doesn’t that make you want to cry? It does me. I thought the Danes had it together but clearly not. Now you just have to spend a fortune trying to buy people’s collections from eBay.
Currently my little girl has a crate of Duplo to make forts out of.
That is just all around awesome. Tomboys rule!
