What an amazing day! Thank you to everyone who came along to my Super Session at the @awscloudanz Summit today. My co-speakers Stephen and Adrian did a FANTASTIC job! Other highlights: getting to sit in the @unsw solar car; posing for my long-awaited photo with @xelfer; seeing the packed Community lightning talks; and hosting a gathering of the AWS Heroes, Community Builders, and User Group Leaders. ❤️

Week 5: Not a lot of visible progress. They poured a leveling compound to help smooth out some of the dips in the floor, which took a while to set. They also removed the old A/C and started installing the new units. They’re also building in a bulkhead for the new kitchen pass lights. 🏠 #renovation

I frogged my gradient scarf for the 3rd time and started over. I’m still not sure what this yarn wants to be. This pattern is meant to look like gingko leaves, and I’m liking it so far! #knitting 🧶

Easter weekend ersatz Weisswurst Frühstück! We were lazy and didn’t manage to source pretzels, so we went with bake-at-home rolls. (Rest assured, Mr. Snook is working on a plan to make his own Brez’n.) 🥨🍺

It’s taken 23 years, but finally the last of my college roommates made it to Sydney for a visit! I just led Elizabeth McKillop and her friend Vic on a loooooong walk all around Barangaroo. 😅❤️

We finished our weekend in the Blue Mountains with High Tea at the Hydro Majestic. #sofull 🫖🍰
