PANTS. So Rodd’s been reading me Cold Comfort Farm as a bedtime story for a while now (although its benefit to my insomnia is negated of course by how friggin’ hilarious it is). And then last night he mentioned Flora making a call on a “video phone.” 😳 WHAT IN THE HELL. I thought he was joking. I made him show me the book. Did you know it’s set in the future?? Like, some weird 1930’s version of the near future!?? It’s so weird. I had to double-check on Wikipedia. I had no idea. Attended Google Women Techmakers today and played around with TensorFlow. I was using Style Transfer to apply the style of famous artworks to my own images. In the process, I appear to have turned myself into a mermaid. 😂
