Starting the last year of my thirties with a 7hr bus trip and then flight back to Manila. Managed to get enough wifi to see I had some lovely birthday messages. Thank you! I’m a lucky girl.

Today’s highlights: Meeting women rescued from human trafficking and teaching them to knit. Getting Canva running locally so I can better understand what our engineers do.
Both humbling experiences in very different ways. (Though let’s be honest – the former is way more important in the grand scheme of things.)
And now it’s the end of the day, and I’m feeling incredibly grateful for the luck, opportunities & advantages I’ve had. I need to remember this the next time I feel sorry for myself. I met people today who have lived through experiences I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I was able to share a skill that I have. And I was able to learn new things and get help myself from some incredibly talented people.
