    Thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes, commiserations, and congratulations in the past week. It’s been up and down, to say the least! But the job hunt is going well, and I can now add “Sydney Royal Easter Show Blue Ribbon” to my CV. 🙂

    I’m 36 and I’ve lived overseas for a third of my life, but it still weirds me out every time I shuck corn NOT on my Mom’s back porch on a summer night into a brown paper bag.
