Thanksgiving Bretagne style with galettes, crepes, and cider. (We miss you, Eman.) ❤️

Quick lunchtime visit to Sacré-Cœur on a beautiful sunny day. What a view! We had some fun spotting the filming locations from Amelie. (No phone booth, and the telescope has changed! Carousel is still there though.) ☀️⛪️🎠❤️

    Ooh la la! 😘

More Amelie-spotting: the Cafe des 2 Moulins where she worked; Collignon’s grocery; and one of the few remaining analog photo booths left in the world. 📸

After a long day of work – for me; he went to the Curie Museum – we went out to dinner at a Parisian craft brewery/burger joint/tattoo parlour. (Why yes, we *were* the least cool people in the place.)🍔🍻

Time to head off on our final European adventure! Early morning TGV train means we’ll be in Paris by lunch… 🚄🇫🇷

Whizzing through picture-perfect French countryside at 200mph (320kmph) – the fastest we’ve ever gone on land. Feeling very happy and fortunate.

Finally getting to see the sights in Paris! The rain stopped long enough for us to have a wander to the Arc de Triomphe, down the Champs-Élysées, over to the Seine, and then to the Eiffel Tower. 🇫🇷❤️

18 years ago today two silly young people got hitched on a Vegas adventure… and tonight we celebrated on a dinner cruise along the Seine in Paris, with wine and truffles and lobster and chocolate and moonlight and architecture. Because sometimes things do have a happy ending, and I’m very very lucky, and he is just the best. ❤️

Sugar Maple progress. The sleeves have been cast off, and I’m now powering down the body! I love how that decrease on the front creates a chevron point that really highlights the gradient. #knitting 🧶

Really excited to see our friend and neighbour Michael Mobbs showing off his sustainable, off-the-grid terrace house on Zac Efron’s “Down to Earth” on Netflix! I’m proud to be a part of Sustainable Chippendale and looking forward to catching up with everyone when we get back in a month. ❤️

Since Jody Podbury wore hers, I have to wear mine! This is the Easy Eyelet Yoke in Hobbii Twister. I love the colour gradient. 🧶 #knitting

Everyone in Europe is like, “Why are you sad to go back to Australia?” They envision it as an endless tropical beach party. Meanwhile… 🦟🦟🦟🦟

The Snook has finally leveled up his coffee game with a fancy hand grinder. Trying it out with Aeropress ahead of our last trip of the year… ☕️

Autumnal dinner of pork belly (with damn nice cracklin’), roast onions, pumpkin mash, and Brussels sprouts. 😍🍁 All made by the Snook…

Made it to colour #3 in the gradient! That’s the collar at the top, and I’m increasing as it extends down over the shoulders. #knitting #SugarMaple

So I was meant to be at a work thing in Vietnam this week, but it got canceled. Upside: I get to skip the 10hr flights and stress. Downside: No team Hollywood dress-up dinner, which means I bought this sweet yellow tracksuit for nothing. (Ninja sword not pictured.) #killbill #thebride
