It was my absolute honour to kick off today’s DACH (Germany/Austria/Switzerland) AWS Community Day in Dresden. I am so grateful to all of these folks who kept the community going through the pandemic, who selflessly volunteer so that others can learn, share knowledge, and socialise. Most of the friends I’ve made over the last 2 years came from this group, and I’m going to miss them terribly when I head back to Australia. You’re all THE BEST, and you inspire me every day. ❤️🇩🇪🇦🇹🇨🇭 #awscommunityday

I’m in Zürich for AWS Swiss Cloud Day, and both of my sessions today were super fun! First I facilitated the Advancing Women in Tech panel with three seriously amazing women leaders – Tanuja Randery (Managing Director for AWS Europe), Yvonne Bettkober (General Manager of AWS Austria and Switzerland), and Maja Rudinac (CTO at FemTech Health). Then I presented a session on Amazon’s Culture of Innovation and got to show off my holy grail – a working Fire Phone. 😂🔥📱 Thanks to everybody who joined us today!
