It’s a beautiful sunny day, so we headed to the Maria Einsiedel Naturbad. This is an outdoor swimming area next to the Isar with pools fed by the river, as well as a flowing canal. We picnicked and lazed under the trees and swam in the icy cold water. Munich in the summer is pretty special. ❤️☀️🌊 #bucketlist

Final photo dump from today’s excursion to the “Jakobidult” Auer Dult festival in Munich. It’s like a fun fair crossed with a giant flea market. Scott had bought Lederhosen, so we joined him in wearing our Tracht. 🍻

Not surprised, but still disappointed. If there’s a chance for Hoosiers to shoot themselves in the foot, we usually take it. I’m heartened by the folks who at least tried to argue and protest against this bill.

Today we took a cruise up the Danube to Walhalla, a German monument and hall of fame. We climbed 350+ steps up to the top. Totally worth it for that view…. ❤️⛴🌅
