After a month of battling this cold/virus, happy to report that we’re nearly completely recovered. #backonthebeers 😍🍻

A day on Mackinac Island. We escaped the tourist shops and hiked about 9km (5.5mi) around the SE corner to Skull Cave and Arch Rock. Beautiful day! 😍

A cloudy, gusty, rainy day seemed like the perfect occasion to check out the Whitefish Point Shipwreck Museum. We also visited the Tahquamenon Falls (and brewery), as well as the Sault Ste. Marie locks… 🚢⚓️🌧️

Yoopers.

Me: I wish you had a hammock.

Me: Not the right type of hammock. 😂

On the plus side, the view from my nylon coffin is really quite lovely.

This pattern and yarn are really well suited to knitting in the great outdoors. ❤️🧶🍃🍂

Week 12: We have officially reached the “waiting for the windows” stage of the project. Most of the bathroom tiling is done though, and it’s looking great. The bulkheads are all in place too. There’s not much left that can be done before the windows/doors are in though… #renovation 🏠
