Easter weekend ersatz Weisswurst Frühstück! We were lazy and didn’t manage to source pretzels, so we went with bake-at-home rolls. (Rest assured, Mr. Snook is working on a plan to make his own Brez’n.) 🥨🍺

It’s taken 23 years, but finally the last of my college roommates made it to Sydney for a visit! I just led Elizabeth McKillop and her friend Vic on a loooooong walk all around Barangaroo. 😅❤️

We finished our weekend in the Blue Mountains with High Tea at the Hydro Majestic. #sofull 🫖🍰

They’re not the Alps, but Australia’s Blue Mountains are still quite the view to wake up to. ⛰️

A lovely belated-birthday, early-anniversary dinner at Darleys at @lilianfelsbluemountains. The service was great, as was the food, wine, and view. ❤️

Week 3: Two of the new walls are built, and plumbing and electrical have been chased in. Our bathroom is finally a rectangle! The internet has been moved to a more practical location, and we can start to see what the back entrance hallway will look like. Next up is to fix the very uneven floor before plastering can begin… 🏠🚧

I’ve been waiting to play “Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley” for ages and it did not disappoint. Charming watercolour artwork, beautiful music from Sigur Rós, all my favorite Moomin characters, Little My being a hilarious jerk… and the gameplay is all about anti-authoritarian eco-activism. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer! ❤️
