    Wow. When you eat breakfast at 5am, by 10am you’re starving.

    @sharre In my defense, I was a very early adopter of Crocs and that was before they became ubiquitous. Now? No freakin’ way. 🙂

    It’s been 24hrs since my first throat tickle. And I’ve now got full-blown cold. THIS SUCKS.

    Sitting up in bed, eating soup (that I can’t taste) provided by Snook, who is playing nursemaid. My nose is so raw already.

    Sudden realisation: WTF do people with kids do when they (parents) get sick? I couldn’t cope. I get helpless and angry when I’m sick.

    I am become Snot Monster, Destroyer of Worlds. Have cancelled work, cleaners, everything. Huddled in bed with streaming eyes and nose.

    It’s 4:50am and I am up and dressed. Set your PVRs to Channel 7 Sunrise, folks. (In other news, I have a sore throat. Shit.)

    Well, I’ve been in a couple shots but I fear my interview is getting bumped. Can’t compete with novelty of twins and male knitters!

    We’re only on every half hour as “FiFi” reads the weather report. I got up at 4.30 for this?? One day I’ll learn.

    @sharre They were both on! Fi asked them how long they’d been knitting. Pretty inane stuff.

    All done, heading to work. TV trivia: FiFi does her own hair and makeup!

    Hilarious. Got in to work just now, and guy behind me went: “Oh, hey, they were talking about knitting on Sunrise today.” Me: “I WAS THERE.”

    Taught 2nd installment of sock workshop today. It was great! Students are doing so well. Makes me regret not pursuing teaching a little bit.

    Ron Weasley has swine flu? NOOOOOOOOO.

    In addition to the 9yo, we also had a sleeping newborn at the knitting class. Both were very well-behaved. I didn’t mind.

    @redambition I have 46. QA person worked on the weekend and closed a lot of bugs, all of which alerted me. *sigh*

    Dr. Amy has been sick a few times tonight. Which, yeah, cats puke. But she hasn’t in years. Should we be worried? Do anything special?

    @AusVintageGrrl I’m still using Tweetdeck. It crashes every now and then, but I like that it syncs columns to my desktop version.

    Was just telling Mom how FREEZING it is in Sydney today, when I looked up the temp conversion. 12C = 53F. She laughed at me. I’m a wuss now.

    Oy vey. One of the people booked in for my sock class was a 9-year-old. Who gave up halfway through. And who then puked in the shop.

    Feeling a lot better. House is a wreck and I accomplished nothing all weekend, but at least I can stop munching paracetamol.

    Still in bed. Going to take one more day to rest and shake this bug.
