Pixies bring magical influence to Vivid opener – SMH – Review of the Pixies concert I went to on Friday night. It was fantastic! Definitely the oldest average age at a show I’ve ever been to (bar maybe Huey Lewis and the News), but it was also the most engaged audience I’ve ever seen at the Opera House. There were people on their feet from the first song, and by the encore nearly everybody was up dancing. And Paz was great – I didn’t feel too much was lacking with Kim not there!
