Evil Dead: The Musical has just opened in New York, and it’s actually getting some decent reviews! I’m loving the idea of the “splatter zone.”

Hmmm, maybe I ought to give World of Warcraft another go after all…

NaBloPoMo has officially started so you can look forward to an entire month of new posts from yours truly. Not that I have much a problem with the whole “posting frequency” thing, but it’s always good to have a goal.

Me and Clover
I finally received my commemorative photograph from my citizenship ceremony of me with Clover Moore, Sydney’s Lord Mayor. She’s a tiny person! And yes, she was wearing her signature choker.

Elephants are smart. That’s neat! I’ve heard the Snook refer to that mirror test before (mostly about how our cat would never pass it).

Happy Movember!
As you can see from the little animation I made, the Snook has recently gone from this to this (and probably lost about a pound in the process). He’ll be growing out his mo’ all month and I figured I might as well document it. I know they’re rather stark photos, but still… Doesn’t he look about ten years younger in the clean-shaven one? (Personally, I prefer him with a bit of scruff.)

Later: Crap. I just discovered it doesn’t work in Safari. Will fix today.

Much later: It does work! I just had a bad version cached.
