BIL & TED & ASTRONAUT & MILEY & AMANDA & ROLLER GIRLS & SNOWDEN & NSA & FUCKING EVERYBODY’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE – I saw some Twitter posts recently that indicated Amanda Palmer had a ninja gig somewhere and maybe Cmd. Chris Hadfield was there? And idly to myself I thought, “Huh. I wonder if he sang Space Oddity” and then “Man, if I were AFP I’d have made sure to sing Astronaut to him.” And then today I read her blog post and found out that all of those things actually happened, and it was pretty friggin’ cool.
Not to mention that she opened the show with a fantastic rendition of one of my favourite songs of hers…
