    @randommandelbot Very random.

    @lemon_lime How did you quilt it? Looks like the middle has straight lines… (I usually just tie them when they’re for kids)

    RT @philnash: It’s a lovely morning in the open plan workspace, and you are a horrible developer.

    Hey knitters – I’m trying to teach a computer to recognise different knitting stitches, so I need training data. You can help by emailing me some photos of your knitting. More details here and email address here: https://t.co/f7hWHINBf2 https://t.co/UBlpPYACBI

    @FourRedShoes Maybe… but only if I get enough data. (Other people are trying to crack this too, and this always seems to be the sticking point.)

    @evanderkoogh @darthted Next week as in Oct 3 or Oct 10? If it’s the latter and you need a cheering section, happy to represent!

    @evanderkoogh @darthted I’m already booked that night. 🙁 I’ll be cheering you on in spirit though!

    Feeling rather Scandinavian today.

    Michael lives a few blocks from us. He’s a neighbour and a friend. I’ve helped him plant trees on the streets, and his chickens have feasted on the leftover grain from the Snook’s brewing experiments. I’m sad he’s leaving… and quite frankly a little scared at why. I guess that’s his point.

    First session is a panel featuring leaders from @Cohesity, @findercomau, @Channel9, and @BPAY_AU. Different companies are at different places on maturity curve and have challenges like software licensing, regulatory concerns, skills shortage. #cloudstrategy19 https://t.co/65XoyQssDq

    It’s important to give your teams time and freedom to innovate, and to build a blame-free culture where failure is accepted and learned from. #cloudstrategy19 https://t.co/A6qKHChVM3

    By 2025, 75% of workforce will be millennials and they’ll have 50% of buying power. They’re tech natives and demand and personalisation, so companies need to embrace digital NOW., says @dhruvdhumatkar from @NetAppANZ. #cloudstrategy19 https://t.co/rLHPp2eZHH

    Next speaker is Joe Waller from @findercomau taking us through their cloud-first transformation. Their legacy physical stack would take a big hit whenever they ran TV campaigns. Moving to @awscloud offered instant elasticity benefit. #cloudstrategy19 https://t.co/4xU1zgBY2e

    Some eye-opening stats from Sean Maritz @nginx while talking about API deployment patterns. 83% of web server its are API traffic, and 40% of NGINX deployments are for API gateways. 😳 #cloudstrategy19 https://t.co/MeXDzXq8pT

    It’s always a pleasure to hear from @allPowerde and the amazing things @CSIRO is doing. Genomics is going to have massive impact on the healthcare industry (and our lives) in the coming years. #cloudstrategy19 https://t.co/CX5oBE8gY5

    Ooh, “ride share” as analogy for serverless. I like that! Might have to retire my usual “takeaway food = kitchenless” example. @allPowerde #cloudstrategy19 https://t.co/PiyW0r9pe2
