Dear God… Dustin is reporting that Melissa Reeves is returning to Days of Our Lives! *dance of joy* Jennifer Horton, cub reporter for the Salem newspaper, was one of my heros growing up. I’m not happy about the rumors that Jen will return without Jack, though. They’re even saying that her new love interest will be someone on the show currently belonging to a “supercouple.” The hell??
Jealous
I have lots of fond memories of Girl Scouts, but to be honest, I never learned to *do* anything. Something like this high-tech program would’ve kicked ass. (Link courtesy of Fresh Hell.)
Riots
Speaking of IU, all the news stories about this weekend’s riots reminded me of that crazy night two years ago when the power went off at ND and the students all started burning couches out on the quad. On one hand I feel like IU is to be commended for actually having a reason to riot (unlike us)… but on the other hand, chants of “Boobies for Bobby!” and topless co-eds really, really disgust me.
Later, Bob
My cousin’s a senior at Indiana University, and yesterday she moaned to me: “Never did I think that I would see Bob Knight leave IU during my four years here.” I reminded her that not long ago, Notre Dame students said goodbye to a beloved coach as well. (We miss you, Lou! Congrats on the victories!)
Ha!
Ha ha! The current “4th and Inches” comic makes me feel a little better though.
Speaking of…
Speaking of the greedy, no-good sucky bastards…
Corso Sucks
Lee Corso can bite my ass. And so can all the rest of the greedy bastards that sold their tickets to Husker fans.
Homophobia
Once again, the Irish beat Boston College. Unfortunately this isn’t football; it’s a ranking of U.S. universities that are least-friendly to homosexuals. Yep, we’re #1 folks. B.C. is #2. Ouch.
Napster
Interesting… This article doesn’t mention Notre Dame directly, but friends on campus tell me that their Napster access seems to have been finally cut off. The RIAA sucks.
#2
Check out The Lycos 50 – Notre Dame is the second-most popular college football team (in terms of search engine queries). Who’s #1? Penn State. Too bad we have a better record than them. 🙂
