It took two months of retirement, but it finally happened: I forgot what day of the week it was for a good ten seconds.

Relatedly, I met another person today who was *shocked* and appalled that we would voluntarily quit our tech jobs. “But won’t you get bored? You’re too young!” He simply could not understand not wanting to work. That makes 3 people in total, and interestingly 2 of them were East Asian. I wonder if it’s cultural…

We’ve checked out several of the new Metro stations in the past week. This one is Gadigal. I love how they’re all so different, yet futuristic and grand and open too.
