We rode the new Metro, and we ate some pizza, and we saw a Talking Heads tribute band (complete with a big suit!), and we saw the remastered Stop Making Sense on a big screen with people dancing in the aisles.

Hey neighbours! Is anyone looking for a fridge/freezer? We’ve got a perfectly good secondhand Samsung that we used throughout our recent renovation. Happy to do a discount for someone local.
Progress update: The AC grills are on in the living room and bedroom! (Living room one needs the gaps at the sides filled, which will happen later.) Less attractive is the open trench alongside our house. Poor guy did it by hand so far and pulled out a lot of construction rubble. (Our neighbourhood is ex-industrial so it’s all backfill.) #renovation

Another videogame recommendation – Cat Quest! It’s on sale for THREE DOLLARS for another couple of days, and it gave me several hours of enjoyment running around and fighting dragons.
Six months after the renovation kicked off, Phase 2* (Remedial Plumbing) has begun! Our building’s aging drains need work, and as the lucky ones on the end, we get to watch as plumbers dig a massive trench right outside our walls for new pipes. Will Kristy fall into the pit? Will a massive sink hole open up and devour Chippendale? Only time will tell! 
* Phase 1 (Interior) is still ongoing as bits and pieces arrive. Our exterior HVAC is on hold until the plumbing remediation is done, as is Phase 3 (Landscaping).
