Hi there! I don’t know if you remember me, but I was in TC a few weeks ago and I said I was from Indiana too, then the till broke! Remember? Tracey from sh1ft.org, a personal friend of mine, said that you had a website, so I’ve come to check it out! I just wanted to say that I’m quite shocked that Indiana’s switching to daylight savings. You know, it’s been so hard twice a year here to change the time back or forward one hour; like it’s just wrong to do that. Now my parents back home are going to have to get used to the same thing! Anyway, just wanted to say hello!
Hi Jamieanne! Wait, another Hoosier was in the shop? I must’ve been having some severe diet-related memory issues that day, because it completely slipped my mind! Glad Tracey could point you over here though. (It’s a little hilarious too, because I’ve “known” Tracey online for ages now and she’s even spotted me at Broadway a few times, but I’ve never once seen her in person! So now I’ve got another web-buddy that I couldn’t identify in a line-up.) 🙂
I don’t mind Daylight Savings too much, actually. I like those long summer evenings! I don’t think it will be as big a change for Northern Indiana as it was when they split the 219 area code a year or so back. I’m still having trouble coming to grips with that one.

Yeah, I like the long summer evenings too. And I really hate it getting dark at 5PM in the winter!
They changed the area code where I lived (Rockville), too, but quite a few years ago. And it took me a while to get used to that, as well!
I’ll say hello next time I’m in TC, which should be soon as I need some more yarn. I’m only brand new to knitting, but I’m really enjoying it so far.
