Well, my friend Sal finally made it back to the States and today she sent me a link to our photos from jetboating. Check ’em out!
We’re the goonies sitting in the back row of the boat. Oh, and if you’re wondering why everyone else is in red and we’re not? Because they’re wearing ponchos. WUSSES! Sal and I rocked it hardcore and got soaked in the process. I highly recommend the ride if you ever visit Sydney. It’s not that scary and you do get to see a lot of the harbour. Just get the 30 minute short ride though; that’ll be enough!

I can still taste the saltwater from Sydney Harbour! Who’s the girl with the blond mustache? Pull your hair out of your face!

Ohhh! That sounds awesome. Tony and I are doing the jetboat thing this Saturday and I’ve been looking forward to it for days. After reading this I’m even more excited if that’s possible. Sweet!

There are actually two competing companies, Morgan. This one docks over by the “toaster” development next to the Opera House. The other one (with purple boats) leaves from the Art Museum side. The purple boats boast that theirs is the only one with seat belts, but the red boat people assured us that these suckers are impossible to flip. We felt like living dangerously.
The red boat people take your pictures before you get on, and then they snap a few as you’re leaving too. While you’re on the ride they print out books that you can purchase when you’re done. They’re about $30, but you get a CD of harbour images too (nice for the tourists) and a code to download your pics off the web too. So if you split the cost between you, it’s not too bad.
