Tempting Fate
Last night as I got into bed, I told the Snook that even though I haven’t been rigorous with my diet or exercise lately, I’ve been feeling really happy and comfortable with my body for the past few weeks. I’ve just been in a good mood.*
Today, a woman just pointedly looked at my belly and congratulated me. *sigh*
* I think a lot of it has to do with the weather. We’ve had a string of non-rainy days and that just lifts my mood so much. I think I have a touch of Seasonal Affective Disorder.

People say the stupidest things, though. (Apparently I *can’t* be pregnant as I’m too small…)
As long as you know how you feel about yourself, other people’s strange comments shouldn’t matter! I’m sure you look as foxy as you feel 😀

ahhhhh yup, like the time someone stood up on the bus for me because of my cake fuelled belly.
Of course, now i am pregnant no bugger offers to stand up for me at all. I suppose because every other woman i meet these days is pregnant possible the few non pregnant people on the bus are starting to feel persecuted…

“Be pround of the little soft curves, they are the best bits.”
I like that, Rachel. Thanks for the pick-me-up!

I have a rule in life. I never pass comment on a suspected pregnancy until the person says “I’m pregnant and really happy about it.”
Last year, I dropped about 10kg. A person who worked in the same building asked me if I had a boy or a girl. I cheerfully said “Not pregnant, that was my other co-worker. I was just fat.”
