Important Note
This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.

Tell me what that means! I have trouble with one knee and am delaying surgery. PleaSe explain! 🙂
Google it! It’s a thing they use to break up kidney stones. Basically, he ultrasounded it and saw what looked like some “calcification”. So the idea is to break that up, and maybe that will get rid of the pain. But if it doesn’t, then we go to the next level – PRP injection.
I should note that the Shockwave treatment wasn’t exactly painful, but it’s pretty intensely uncomfortable for a few minutes. It was like a little electric jackhammer pounding away at the most sensitive bit of my tendon.
Huh! Interesting. I will investigate. Thanks.
