Good grief. The nation is still mourning the Bali tragedy, and some psycho opened fire at a Melbourne university today. Two students were killed and five injured before others managed to tackle the gunman. Is it ever possible to get numb to this stuff?

And get this: today the police bomb squad had to be called to my university (Melbourne Uni) because of a suspicious looking “box” placed in front of a building. I don’t know if it was anything, but I swear, all the events of the last week or so are starting to freak me out.
It just keeps getting worse, doesn’t it? Today I just discovered this. Apparently some psycho is bombing CityRail vending machines at night here in Sydney. Now I’m going to be thinking of this every time the Snook takes the train to and from work. 🙁
