Important Note
This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.

Great! This gives me more fuel for my “Let’s Move To Indiana When We’re Ready To Put Our Kids Through School” fire.
I really can’t believe that. I’d have thought we’d have just as many dropouts as any other state (if not more). And all of the country schools are desperate for money. That said, I remember going to Penn for a speech meet and just being amazed at how big and nice and well-appointed it was. The rumor was that all their light switches were motion-detected! We country bumpkins were impressed. ๐
