Ah, I knew that one. I missed the most popular religion – I got it confused with most spoken language, I think – and the location of Afghanistan. I know. My geography teacher would be ashamed. Sorry, Mr. Schmidt.
I was also tripped up by the religion one and got 19 right. I was lucky, however, that the “pick the country” questions didn’t have countries too close together as options.
I don’t think I ever took a geography course in school. Guess that is one indication of why Americans are so bad at these tests.
20/20. Where can I pick up my gold star? I thought it was really easy, and I really can’t believe how bad the US folks did on some of the answers. Only 27 percent knew the US population??? Egads.
I know. It’s like on the few occasions when I’ve watched Jay Leno, and he asks people on the street who the President is and they have no clue. I always used to think that they were just playing dumb for the camera, that no one could actually be that stupid. The depressing statistics on this survey, though, would seem to suggest otherwise.

I got 19. I missed the religion one too. And, you know, Afghanistan seemed a little misshapen on their map.

I know! When I hit the Sweden one, I thought I was done for. Luckily Finland and Norway weren’t two of the options. 🙂

I missed 2. But at least I did a hell of a lot better than the rest of the US n00bs who took their quiz.
