Another rainy day; another wet birthday card. The forecast doesn’t look any better for the rest of the week. This sucks.

Important Note
This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.

i reiterate – AT LEAST IT’S NOT SNOW!!
aw, girl, i can appreciate your weather-related doldrums, but crap weather like that is perfect for staying inside with loved ones, getting caught up on reading, taking hot baths (preferably with the aforementioned loved ones), and diving into yet another fabulous craft project!
all my thinly-veiled seattle issues aside, i hope the sun gets its act together on your birthday. ๐
Ah, see, any mention of Seattle’s weather brings their high suicide rate to my mind. That’d be me. I just can’t deal with constant rain. That’s why I’ve been digging Sydney weather. You generally get just quick rainstorms in the summer, and the spring and winters are pretty dry. Autumn is supposed to be the wet season, but the past year had record low rainfall (ahhh, the lovely drought). I guess I’m going to have to get used to gray skies for a month or two. ๐
And it’s supposed to rain Saturday, which apparently scraps the Snook’s plans for a birthday picnic. Nuts.
