Two down… …one more go to. I am a Gryffindor scarf makin’ machine! These two are about to be sent off to Adrianna in Pennsylvania. I’ve got one more to finish before Christmas and then I’m taking a much needed break. I’m sick of scarves! 🙂
They’re pretty simple, Leigh-Anne. The best way to do them is on a circular needle, in which case just cast on about 60-70 stitches or so, join, and start knitting. Change stripes regularly after about 20-30 rows. You can also knit them flat by casting on double the stitches and knitting in stockinette (K one row, P one row). Then sew up the edge afterwards.
Hi! I tried to send you an email to order a scarf, but it came back rejected. Is there any other way I can contact you? I looove all your stuff, by the way 🙂
Hi! I was looking online for a pattern for the Gryffindor scarves, and your site came up. I just realized that I’ve been doing it wrong the whole time. I was doing a different stich and I started with the wrong color. But I’ve done so much that I don’t want to start over again. Ugh. Well anyways, it’s cool that your making the scarves – the correct way.

I just wondered if perhaps you could post knitting instructions for the Gryffindor scarves. I’m making my friend one for her b-day and I’m just lost.
