I was inspired by Kristen‘s recent Christmas redesign to do a little decorating myself. Whaddaya think? Don’t worry; the new “winter” theme only extends to the web-goddess home page. All the other pages still have my old design. Oh, and yeah, it’s actually summer here in Australia. I like to be contrary sometimes.
Update: Yeah, I rolled it out to the whole site. Let me know if you see any problems!

looks pretty!
not much chance of a white christmas in sydney, unless you can find a beach with pristine sand to play with. bit different from indiana, i would imagine.

The more I look at it, the more I like it. I might have to roll it out to the rest of the site…

Looks Good. It’s cold in Sydney at the moment so it works quite well.
Needs more green and gold though.

It’s very pretty! But I find reading white text on colour a bit difficult (although that’s probably just me!). A nice change 🙂

It’s been up for more than a year, Mia. I don’t like to change it too often. 🙂

I like it. Very seasonal: I definitely think you should use it for the whole site.

blue links on blue = bad. other than that, like it. i think white writing would be better, though…

For the record, Kel was looking at an old version of the stylesheet. If the site’s hard to read for you, just do a control-refresh a couple times.

Hi Kris! I love it!
Snowflakes are so great! Were you here a couple of years ago when those huge bushfires started on xmas day, like in the Blue Mountains and in the Royal? We had heavy ash falling in our yard and that was the closest we had to a white Xmas. I’m morbid. 🙁
When I redid spycore, I was worried that I’d be forced to change it in spring, but I’ve since figured that most of my traffic are probably american and wouldn’t notice anyway! Heehee! I’m in the middle of redesigning it in red and pink tartan! It sounds ott, but I promise it will be good! Your blue is really calming and lovely!

i love it, kris! nice on the eyes, and very seasonal. wishing it could reflect some cold as i sit here in thirty-odd degree heat!

Thirty degrees in Melbourne while it’s freezing in Sydney? This is too weird. Although, according to the Snook we’ve got a heat wave coming next week…
